4.1 - Nose and Mouth
Noses must be the hardest thing to draw if you want to do it realistically. The shape never turns out right, but in anime and manga, it's the easiest! If noses aren't your forte, you can just use a dot to represent it, a shadow, or forget about it altogether. You can also draw it as a rounded L shape, which is how I do it. There are cases in manga (mostly shounen) where a character makes a comical strained face and has a realistic-looking nose, but knowing how to draw one is not manditory.
So where should you position the dot/shadow/curved L/empty space? Well, just keep in mind that the length of the nose is more or less the length of one's thumb, with the top of the nose aligned with the eyes and the bottom aligned with the bottom of the ears. A nose that is too short will make the face look chubby and a nose that is too long will make the face look like a horse's. Thus, it's important to judge the distance correctly.
Mouths on the other hand, can get a little tricky. Like the nose, the mouth can be simplified into a thin line and even a dot, but it can also get complex if you want to add in lips. Many artists just add a second line under the line for the mouth to represent the lower lip and leave it at that while others draw the full lips, top and bottom. Below are just a few examples.
